Paul has been a working actor for fifty-two years, appearing in 199 stage productions, sixteen films and four Public Television series. In 1988 he received his MFA in Theatre. He's had the honor of working with stars like Paul Newman, James Earl Jones, Burt Reynolds, Peter Ustinov and Swoozie Kurtz. He's a two-time Emmy nominee, has won twenty-two Telly Awards, a Catalyst Gold Award for Best Director (Low-Budget Commercial), two National Communicator Awards of Excellence, and the 2011 Encore Award for Best Actor in A Dramatic Role. Paul teaches and directs both theatre and acting, and believes that the key to a fine performance is knowing as much as you possibly can about your character.
